Threw enough parts on the floor to come up with a shin drive Onggi style kick wheel, pushed it into the doorway of a closet beside the Bay of Fundy.

On a small 4 wheel moving cart, placed the chopped off deck and wheel head from a dead Amoco 70’s vintage wheel to start. Topped that with an old diamond saw blade rimmed with bicycle tube rubber to extend the base and get some traction.

‘Tap centered’ an antique grinding stone from early last century or before. Inserted a pipe scrap to hold it centered, wedged in some wood screwed to an old bat or 2 and it’s working not so bad. (For small work like this pot shown I need to build new Onggi tools.)

Chair extends into the hall; my pottery ‘for now.’

All of 6 square feet. If I leave my ego outside and stay with hand builds; I have enough room. Starting ‘There be Dragons’ series on this stone.
